Anno Dom 1760 he and a certain Joseph Blades had a fight in which he the said John Waddel did bite off the ear of the said Joseph Bladesin the presence of Sundry Witness to wit Nicholas Price and William Greenhawk and others, so the said John Waddel saith and acknowledgeth that the said Joseph Blades came by the loss of his ear and not otherwise.
