This picture was taken from the market square, with the water pump in front, which was renovated in 1973. A very long time ago when there was no waterworks, the people could pumped out the water using that pump. Maybe Anna Gertruda had also pumped water on that pump. On the background the church of Lottum. Lime trees and old buildings are around the market square and there is an atmosphere of calmness that you wouldn't expect in this time. On the other side is text ANNO MDCCCVIII (1808). And on the front is the text "Burg. Drs JVM Steegmans 14-4-1973". The pump was restored for use by the Burgemeester Steegmans on 14 April 1973.
