 Another building at the site of the 'Brouwershuis' it was the house of the owner of the brewery. In the late sixties and early seventies it was a small theater. At that time many artists lived in the village of Broekhuizen . The village had at that time the attraction of this kind of people. But not all the villagers did like that, because it was the end of peacefulness in the village. Some of the young people that came to the village had long hair and they said that they used drugs. That was the time of the flower power, we think it was in America also in those years. After a few years when most of them left the village, Broekhuizen got their peacefulness back. |
